Paul Stumpf - head coachPaul Stumpf is in his 24th season as the head coach of the UC Santa Barbara women's soccer program.
Stumpf enters the 2022 season as the program's leader in coaching victories with 204. Overall, his teams have amassed a 204-177-54 record. Stumpf became the program's all-time winner on September 9, 2010, when the Gauchos defeated William and Mary, 2-0. In 2018, Stumpf guided the UCSB program to a 13-7-1 overall record and a 5-2-1 mark in league play. The Gauchos finished second in the Big West standings and defeated UC Irvine in the first round of the conference tournament before falling in the championship match to Long Beach State.
