Paul Stumpf is in his 18th season as the Head Coach of the UC Santa Barbara Women's Soccer program.
He entered the 2015 season with a record of 145-133-36. His total of 145 wins are the most in UCSB history. Stumpf became the program's all-time winner on September 9, 2010 when the Gauchos defeated William and Mary, 2-0.
In 2009, Stumpf guided UCSB to its second straight Big West tournament title and NCAA Tournament. One year earlier, he led the program to its first Big West Tournament title and first NCAA Tournament bid since 1991. 2008 also marked the fifth time that Stumpf has guided the Gauchos to at least 10 wins. He has led the program to records of .500 or better in seven of the last 10 seasons, including, at one point, four straight seasons of 10 or more victories, the first time the program accomplished that feat since 1988-91.
