Paul Stumpf - head coachPaul Stumpf is in his 22nd season as the head coach of the UC Santa Barbara women's soccer program.
Stumpf enters the 2019 season as the program's leader in coaching victories with 188. Overall, his teams have amassed a 188-163-45 record. Stumpf became the program's all-time winner on September 9, 2010, when the Gauchos defeated William and Mary, 2-0. In 2018, Stumpf guided the UCSB program to a 13-7-1 overall record and a 5-2-1 mark in league play. The Gauchos finished second in the Big West standings and defeated UC Irvine in the first round of the conference tournament before falling in the championship match to Long Beach State. Goffin Boyoko- CAMP COORDINATORGoffin Boyoko joined the UCSB women's soccer coaching staff just prior to the 2017 season.
A former Gaucho men's player, Boyoko played the 2012 and 2013 seasons in Santa Barbara after spending his first two collegiate years at Auburn University-Montgomery. As a senior, "Gof" led UCSB with eight goals and 19 points. Five of his goals were game-winners and he made 17 starts in his 21 appearances, helping the team to the NCAA Tournament. Following the season the midfielder was named Honorable Mention All-Big West. In an injury-filled junior season, Boyoko appeared in 18 games and started three. He scored two goals. A native of Paris, France, Boyoko majored in global studies at UCSB. |
